So we quickly learned that our PokerStars accounts would take a few days to get back up and funded, which isn’t bad because it’ll give us some time to get settled in and relax.
We stayed at Doce Lunas the first 2 nights, which is a personal favorite of ours. We stayed there quite a few times last time in Costa Rica, and would highly recommend it to anyone else. The resort is beautiful and the owners/staff are awesome.
The bartender Shirley made us margaritas made out of starfruit & cas, both grown on the resort. Then she switched it up to pineapple & basil margaritas which were just as good. She then made us all Chili Guaro shots which is a local favorite and pretty tasty as well. It was a good night.
The Grind House
We got into the place we’ll be staying and playing at for the next month earlier today, and we’re really happy with it. A beach front condo in North Jaco by the coves, surrounded by pools and sand.
We’ll probably start playing some smaller sites tonight while we wait for PokerStars to get going, and the challenge to begin.
