It is important to always analyze your game for leaks.
Working with your poker network and better players is a great way to find your leaks and plug them.
HOW TO FIND YOUR LEAKS
Review your hand histories – It’s not enough to just play poker, you must also review your game afterwards. This is like a basketball team watching tape of a game that they won or lost in order to see they did well, and what they did poorly.
Use tools such as poker tracker – There is great software out there that not only allows you to review your hands, but also has built in features to help find and plug your leaks.
Talk with other poker players about hands – This may be the best and most important thing you should do in order to keep your leaks to a minimum. Always stay engaged with other good players.
Have other good players review your hand histories – Having these other poker players review your hand histories is another great way to find holes in your game.
Be honest with yourself – Put your pride and ego aside when analyzing your game for leaks. This is of the utmost importance. You must be prepared to be humbled and sometimes embarrassed when trying to plug leaks and improve your game.
