Great escapes are moments when you normally would lose all of your chips, but something happens that allows you to get away from it.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN GETTING AWAY FROM A BIG HAND
When getting away from a strong hand, you are looking for bets or moves from opponents that are out of the ordinary.
Typically, this means:
-A tight player makes a big re raise.
-2 or more players make big re raises.
-A player who normally sizes his raises to 2-3x your bet, makes it a larger sizing.
You are dealt JJ, and make a raise. Your plan is to move all in if you are raised.
An opponent 3 bets you a larger amount then usual.
A tight opponent after him moves all in.
You decide to fold your pocket jacks and make an escape, because your opponents both made extremely strong plays.
